Modelling and analysis of Intraocular Pressure (IOP) data

This dissertation is concerned with the modelling and analysis of Intraocular Pressure (IOP) data. The data is longitudinal in nature and exhibits cyclic patterns. Comparison of IOP across various treatment regimen represents a significant methodological problem. In this dissertation we explore various techniques using linear mixed models and wavelets to model the IOP data. We also develop methodologies based on bootstrap to compare the IOP curves. We introduce a novel semi-parametric bootstrap method which has a potential in applications beyond the IOP data.
