The purpose of this study was to investigate the educational narratives of high school students who have gifted and learning disabilities profiles. The main goal of this study was to allow students with dual exceptionalities to share their perspectives about their educational experience. There is very little research about the perspectives of students who have gifted and learning disabilities profiles. Three male participants were chosen for this study, one who is African American and two who are Caucasian. Qualitative narrative inquiry was chosen as the methodology for this study. Data was collected in the form of three open-ended interviews, allowing participants to share their experiences in their own words. The data is presented in the form of narratives, including personal and contextual themes, detailing the experiences of the participants.
