Glyphosate-resistant Palmer amaranth continues to spread rapidly across Georgia. By 2011, this pest will likely infest all Georgia cotton-producing counties. This publication discusses major factors influencing this rapid development of resistance and how Palmer amaranth's weaknesses can be manipulated to improve control by herbicide systems.
