Growing tobacco under prescribed irrigation can be an important way of reducing costs, and improving crop management, especially if chemigation (the application of chemicals through the irrigation system) may be conducted by the same means. Tobacco plant growth under various treatments of drought and no-drought was documented by measuring certain plant characteristics.
